Five years ago, we fell in love with a peaceful, rustic slice of the Arizona countryside. As a local family, we decided to purchase the historical Burro RV Park and Saloon. Since then, we've invested our hearts, souls, and extensive renovations to create an authentic, welcoming, and cost-effective desert haven.
Unlike corporate campsites run by cold management companies, we operate directly on the ground. When you visit or rent a lot with us, you're dealing with family. We care about maintaining a friendly community, keeping the beer cold, and ensuring your stay is safe, quiet, and satisfying.

Monthly 50-AMP Lot
A cost-effective, premium alternative to pricey Prescott options. Ideal for winter stayers, full-time travelers, and the working crews who keep this corner of Arizona running—seasonal and traveling contract workers, construction crews, and mine employees commuting to Bagdad, Prescott, and Wickenburg.
What's Included:
What's in the rent: Water, sewer, and trash are included.
Electricity: Tenant is responsible for electricity via an individual APS meter. After your application is approved, you contact APS directly to place the meter in your name.
Move-in costs: A $15 application fee and a $100 security deposit.
Desert Dry Camping
Bring your self-contained rig, van, or overland setup. Rest right beneath Yavapai County's massive, light-pollution-free dome of stars.

What are the standard check-in and check-out times?
Our standard check-in time is between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Since we are a family-operated park, we understand that travel schedules can be unpredictable! If you expect to arrive outside of these hours, please let us know in advance so we can arrange to welcome you.
How can I view the RV park site map and layout details?
Our park is arranged directly around the historic Burro Saloon storefront. Long-term lots feature back-in spaces equipped with standard utility pedestals (50-AMP electricity, water, and sewer connections). Our dry camping zones are located in the surrounding quiet countryside. For a detailed layout or site map, feel free to ask at the saloon or check the physical layout board upon arrival. You can also chat with our 'Burro AI Mascot' in the bottom right for instantaneous directions!
Are pets allowed at the RV park?
Absolutely! We are a pet-loving, family-operated desert campground. We simply ask that you keep your pets leashed when outside of your rig, clean up after them promptly, and ensure they do not disturb the quiet atmosphere of the community.
What hookups and utilities are included in the stay rates?
For the Park Expansion Special ($45/day, $250/week or $500/month), water, sewer and trash are included, and the tenant puts APS in their name. A $100 deposit and $15 application fee apply. The separate $650 monthly option has TDH-paid APS. For our Desert Dry Camping ($25/night), the sites are strictly dry (no utility hookups), making them perfect for self-contained rigs, overland setups, or vans.
Can I lease the commercial kitchen space, and what is the process?
Yes! We have a fully equipped commercial kitchen adjacent to the Saloon that is currently available for commercial lease. It's a wonderful opportunity to set up a culinary concept (like a breakfast café or BBQ joint) and cater to our active local residents and saloon visitors. How can I check connectivity before my stay?
Contact the team to discuss your connectivity needs before committing to a site. Cellular coverage varies by carrier and device; internet service is not promised as part of the special.
